Product Details
A fast growing, small, spreading tree (up to 20 ft), the Cootamundra wattle has a short trunk and arching branches, feathery blue-gray leaves, and fragrant golden yellow flower clusters in late winter. Widely used in warm temperate gardens as a feature or shade tree, a specimen in full bloom can be a spectacular sight. Like most acacias, it tends to be short lived and prone to borer attack when declining. The cultivar 'Purpurea' has purplish foliage, especially on the growing tips.
