Also known as Be-still tree, is an upright, open shrub or small tree with lance-shaped, mid- to green leaves. Produces scented apricot-yellow flowers, followed by triangular-ovoid, red, later black seed pods. In general, Thevetia is fast growing. Foliage is glossy and deep green, flowers are clusters of yellow funnel-shaped flowers. Can be used as hedges, or trained into tree form. This is a poisonous plant. |
