Aloe arborescens is a tree-like, many branched succulent with rosettes of sword-like, fleshy, bright green leaves, to 24 inches long, partly concave above, with toothed, wavy margins. In late spring and early summer, each rosette bears terminal racemes, to 12 inches tall, of cylindrical red flowers, to 1 1/2 inches long. |
